Activated Carbon (Coconut Shell and Macadamia nut)

Hard, high-activity granular carbon used in Carbon-in-Pulp (CIP), Carbon-in-Leach (CIL) and carbon-in-column circuits. It adsorbs the gold-cyanide complex from leach solutions, concentrating gold onto the carbon for elution and electrowinning. Coconut shell carbon is prized for its hardness and resistance to attrition in agitated tanks.
